About Us
The story of Flex began in 2002. After receiving education in tourism and hospitality, Halil Erkoç and Özgür Yardaş entered the industry immediately after graduating from high school by establishing their first F&B personnel team. The two founders later completed their university education in the same field, combining their academic knowledge with hands-on industry experience.
In 2006, Flex was officially incorporated and quickly became one of Türkiye’s leading personnel supply companies. Between 2006 and 2012, new investments remained limited due to the founders’ military service; however, personnel operations continued without interruption. Even during their military service, they managed social facilities, further strengthening their operational and leadership experience.
In 2012, we brought our hospitality discipline to the table by establishing the FlexCatering brand. In the same year, we became a decoration subcontractor for Metropolitan Municipality Grand Plaza. Through this collaboration, which continued until 2018, we gained systematic experience in event infrastructure. This expertise later formed the foundation of our kiralikekipman.com brand.
In 2013, we incorporated İzmirCatering, one of İzmir’s leading industry players, and expanded our catering operations.
Between 2013 and 2018, following the sales operations of “Arena,” İzmir’s largest event venue, Flex assumed responsibility for the entire event management process. We successfully managed hundreds of events, ranging from the Aegean Region’s largest concerts to major corporate events.
Between 2018 and 2020, we collaborated with Yelki Çiftlik. By transferring the business model we had developed at Arena to Yelki, we transformed an existing venue into a recognised brand and gained valuable experience in operating a venue with a different concept. However, we concluded this project before the pandemic.
During the pandemic, we also launched several ventures in different sectors. We operated in the automotive industry through Modern Oto Servisi and introduced the Kırvatlı Meyhane project. However, as the tavern concept was not aligned with our business approach, we closed it shortly afterwards. Modern Oto Servisi was transferred in 2023, allowing us to refocus entirely on our core industry.
In the post-pandemic period, we began expanding the Flex brand once again. The MyFlex Event brand was launched in 2021. In 2022, we incorporated the long-established brands Cici Catering and Cici Meze. The industry legacy of these brands, which had ceased operations during the pandemic, now continues under the Flex umbrella.
In 2023, kiralikekipman.com expanded its operations and achieved a leading position in the equipment rental sector. In the same year, Çağırması Sandalye, one of the Aegean Region’s largest event infrastructure providers, also joined our organisation.
Leadership in Corporate Events
When a corporate event is organised in the Aegean Region, Flex is involved as a supplier in at least three out of every five quotations and frequently serves as the main contractor. Preferred by Türkiye’s leading industrial, energy and service companies, Flex is now the region’s strongest and most widely preferred brand in corporate events.
Today, Flex operates a powerful ecosystem that provides integrated solutions in catering, event organisation, equipment rental and event venues. Over the years, we have built an extensive portfolio of references by working with Türkiye’s leading brands, as well as managing the weddings and private events of numerous well-known individuals.
